Schools can now consider this experiental tour that will help open the eyes of students (and teachers!) about the importance and relevance of caring for the environment in our daily lives. The MGCPI (Mapecon Green Charcoal Phils Inc) Facility, while being both an R&D and Manufacturing Facility, opens its doors to the public as its response to Laudato Si, Pope Francis' call to "Care for Our Common Home". While areas of the facility are in various stages of development, and to help us also learn more about handling tours, the Greenovations Educational Tour is offering a 50% discount this schoolyear, from August 2019 to March 2020!
The Learning Stations include: Incredible Insects, Wonderful World of Worms, Coconuts are Cool, Treasure from Trash, and Green Charcoal Energy.
Aside from the Education Sector, the Greenovations Educational Tour helps LGUs (local government units) to develop their own Green Charcoal BioMRF, so that they will no longer need landfills, and also be compliant with the Philippines' Solid Waste Management Act.
